Bolton is host to local and regional schools for the area and seat of the Nashoba Regional School
District. The district, which covers the towns of Bolton, Lancaster, and Stow in east-central
Massachusetts, became regionalized 9-12 in 1961 and regionalized K-12 in 1995. It currently is
comprised of 4 elementary, 2 middle, and 1 high school. The district was selected as a
Massachusetts Carnegie site and is an NEA learning lab. The high school has an full computer network
with over 300 network connections and computers with full Internet access. All district schools
are being interconnected. NRHS has recently undergone an extensive renovation which is being
completed in the 2002 school year.
